Activities
For our activity, we were tasked to make a 5-picture story using different angles of the camera.
We were also assigned to present one of our post and list down the positive and/or negative effect.
Essays
For our first essay, we were required to write down our knowledge about our subject. It is to test our knowledge and for our professor to know about how much we know about it.
We also differentiate the traditional and new media and listed down their advantages and disadvantages.
For our third essay, we were assigned to write down the different codes we used in our video.
Performance Tasks
We were assigned to create a video on how media and literacy was used at a certain time. Each group was assigned with different eras to tackle about and we got Pre-colonial era.
For our second PT, we created a picture compilation about the life of a Mapuan student and identify what camera angle and codes we used in our video.
We also created a journey map about our goals. We were told to leave it open as along the way, we'll think of another goal to achieve.
We were also tasked to think of a new gadget that will benefit the people. We draw a model of the prototype and explain their uses.
For our last PT, we search for 2 posts that have a positive impact on social media. We also provided 2 posts with negative impact on social media.
Quizzes
For our first quiz, we tested our knowledge about the evolution of media.
The second quiz focuses on types of media, media and information sources, and media and information languages.
For our third quiz, it tackles about the laws in media.
